I’m Sandy Reynolds

🌿 Creator of Disappoint More People

🌿 Certified Sage-ing Leader

🌿 Lover of Sacred Rituals

Two beliefs inform the work I do. First, people can change. Second, it’s never too late to start on that journey. I’m a late bloomer, and I continue to become more aligned with my true self the older I get.

My Story

How I got here

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I am the middle child, left-handed and neurodivergent. I was always doing something impulsive that got me in trouble. I also went through some traumatic childhood experiences that I found the courage to confront when I was in my thirties. I wanted to fit in and belong. Being what others wanted me to be seemed like a good way to achieve those goals.

For twenty-five years, I was the ‘pastor’s wife.’ It’s been a journey unpacking how people-pleasing became internalized in that role. It’s why I have worked hard on learning to Disappoint More People.

Life these days.

I am an avid reader surrounded by people who enable me. I have a stack of unread books that get taller by the week. A relaxing afternoon is doing a jigsaw puzzle and listening to podcasts.

In the past few years, I’ve been exploring what it means for me to have a healthy spirituality. I am part of a monthly discussion group where we ask deep questions and challenge the thinking that we had embraced as part of the religious formation earlier in our lives.

What I am passionate about.

I’m passionate about providing the tools and encouragement so that people become honest with themselves and each other. It’s the only way to experience true belonging and create healthy relationships.

I have sixty-five years of life experience, and I am discovering conscious aging as a way to embrace the third act of life with meaning and purpose.

What’s a career path?

I’ve spent most of my life as a solopreneur. I discovered that I am happiest when creating content and supporting individuals and organizations based on my passion.

I am a life-long learner, and I don’t think it’s ever too late to try something new. I’ve studied Marketing, pursued a Bachelor of Theology (I changed my mind after a year) and then focused on raising my family. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Licensed MBTI practitioner

  • Diploma in Adult Education

  • Certified Life Coach

  • Master of Arts in Leadership

  • Certified Sage-ing Leader®
